What Are The Symptoms?
When the PS4 Slim is turned on it will display a black and white screen that says "An error has occurred in the system software. Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 using the USB cable, and then press the PS button."
This repair is for the PS4 Slim. We have separate repair pages for the PS4(Original) and PS4 Pro.

Why Does It Happen?
This issue often occurs when your console hard drive is faulty; it can also occur due to a main board fault, corrupted system software, or a faulty BT/WiFi module.

How Do We Fix It?
Once we have confirmed that it is a fault with the console itself, we disassemble the console and check the mainboard. Once the fault is found, we carry out repairs as needed.

90 Minutes
If you would like your repair completed within 90 minutes, we offer this for an additional fee of £25. This service is first-come, first-served.
Next Day
Our standard service is next day. You can bring the console in anytime during the opening hours and it will be repaired and ready for collection the following day. There is no extra charge for our next day service and it is always available.
Can Take Longer
In some rare cases, this repair may exceed the estimated timeframe due to the complexity or severity of the fault.

12 month Guarantee
All of our repairs come with a 12 month guarantee. This starts on the date that is printed on the customer receipt and finishes 12 months later. In the unlikely event that the same fault reoccurs, we will fix it again free of charge. If repair is not possible then a full refund will be offered.
Full Check-up
We extensively test consoles both before and after repairs. If additional problems are found, we will always contact you before carrying out any work on the console. We will never charge you for work you haven't agreed to.

This repair does not involve the internal storage so your game saves and data will be unaffected.

I must admit I was quite nervous on taking my PlayStation 5 for repair but it was definitely necessary. I had many issues with the heat and then my PlayStation going into recovery mode and switching off. I was really impressed by the professional service. The PlayStation 5's disc drive gave out for some reason and when looking across town for firms who would do the repairs, there were not that many.
Took a chance on this company and I was very glad I did. Despite travelling across town on the tube to reach them, not only did they fix the issue, they did it in no time at all. I paid for 90 minutes turnaround as didn't want to go back the next day and it was less time than that even!
Plugged back in the PS5, and every disc works again as expected. They explained although they do charge more than others they will use the proper orginal disc laser assembly and drives for repairs wheras others cheapen out.
Top class service, happy to recommend to all.

I found this place following a Google search for Playstation 5 repairs after my console suddenly stopped reading Blu Ray and 4K discs.
Having never used such a service to get a console repaired, I was a little skeptical. But after reading positive reviews on here that are old and new, I thought I would give it a go. I was very glad that I did!
The warehouse can be a little tricky to find but it is a unit within a building after a short walk from Stratford station; or even closer to Stratford High Street station on the DLR.
If you’re having trouble finding the actual workshop, you can just call the number on their website and someone will guide you.
The engineer who took my console was very friendly and fully walked me through what they would do, as well as a full breakdown on prices. It’s also great that they offer a “no fix, no fee” policy, meaning that if they cannot fix your console, you don’t have to pay a fee.
The engineer advised me that he wouldn’t be able to look at it on that day, but said that it should be done the next day and he would give me a call the next afternoon to update me.
He was true to his word! The next afternoon I received a call to say that he wouldn’t charge me the optional cleaning fee that I had agreed to as my console was pretty much free from dust. I really appreciated this and thought it was very honest, as perhaps other companies could just charge you for this to make an extra buck!
A little while later that day, the engineer called me back to say that he unfortunately could not repair the disc drive due to circumstances out of his control. I was gutted but I thought it was no fault of the company or engineer.
Thankfully, five minutes later, he called back to say that he took a shot in the dark and tried one last thing and it worked! My console was fixed! I was so glad that he persevered and tried everything he could, and now I have a working PS5 once again!
I went to collect it a few days later due to a TFL tube strike. With generous opening hours, I was able to make it there before they closed for the evening.
The engineer was very friendly and walked me through what he had done and I then paid the fixed fee that was even advertised on their website, so there were no hidden fee surprise charges!
The company even offers a 12 month guarantee, so if the part fails again within 12 months, I can just take it back and have it repaired again for free.
This review is quite lengthy but has certainly been written unprompted and by me, a human.
I really wanted to give this company and the engineer the full credit it deserves as I had a seamless and positive experience, and I would certainly recommend and use them again if necessary.

I was pancaking as I had broken my PlayStation portal and I heard or was quite difficult to fix. I contacted Consle Repaid on WhatsApp and they were very professional. I dropped my confoms late on Saturday and I was treated warmly. I got a call on Monday informing me that it was fixed and I don’t need to get my joysticks replaced as it was just not aligned after the fall . After having complete faith in the process so far I opted to get the sticks replaced . I picked it up an hour later and it was fully working . 10/10 experience

Brilliant service,I went in with a loud fan sounded like a jet engine and with a loud buzzing sound that caused the PlayStation to turn off the issues have been completely fixed I can’t even hear that my PlayStation is on now plus I got a warranty with the repairs carried and if that wasn’t enough I got everything completed within 2hours of handing the console over definitely would recommend

Had issues with an original PS4 I bought back in 2015 served me well the last couple Years but the fan went and any time it was turned on it sounded like a jet engine taking off “no joke” the neighbours weren't to happy about this and as you’d expect the blocks group chat was frantic about the incessant jet noise between the hours of 7pm to 12pm long story short I had to blame the noise on the flat next door occupied by a single mum with two young boys. After many complaints from the others tenants, the mum was asked to leave along with her children so naturally after that I needed to get the PlayStation repaired ASAP and the boys obliged!!!! Awesome service!!! Fair price!!! And QUICK!!!! Would recommend!
