One morning, after I cleaned up the Xbox area, the HDMI port was a bit damaged, the pins were broken. I googled it and found this repair shop, it has real good rating and the price is very transparent. I WhatsApped them before I went, the communication was smooth. Follow google map, then you’ll find yourself at Stratford workshops, a converted co working space. The repair shop is in one of the units, one level up and follow the sign, walk through the corridor, you’ll find the sign. It isn’t a very big shopfront, it is a rather compact unit. There are many tools and a couple of PS5 consoles on the desk waiting to be fixed. The repair guy greeted us, not overly enthusiastic but very polite and professional. He seemed to know what he was doing. The price was £79 as of late May 2026, we paid extra £25 to get it fixed within the same day. The guy rang us and let us know when the machine was fixed. Upon collection, he showed us that the Xbox was working. We paid at collection total £104. Very professional workman and shop. Will recommend.

In mid-March 2026, I accidentally knocked my Xbox One Series X off of my fairly tall chest of drawers, which then crashed down upon my bedroom’s wooden floor. I felt terrible because this Xbox was an early Christmas gift from my brother in December 2022. Moreover, I was undertaking a task, at the time, which, in the grand scheme of things, wasn’t important at all. It was one of those moments where my clumsiness added an unexpected problem to a life I was otherwise holding together and getting on track. While the Xbox still worked on the whole, it could no longer sync with a controller, as the button employed to do so had stopped working. The machine had also received quite a rough physical dent in one of the corners. I was very lucky that the damage wasn’t worse, but at the same time I had no idea if its full extent. I searched the web for console repair services and found Console Repair London. During the week, I initially tried calling but they were closed (for a one-off reason that I can’t recall), so in my impatient panic, I went searching for alternatives. The next day, Tariq, from Console Repair London, called me back, and we arranged to bring in my Xbox that upcoming Saturday. Tariq began fixing my Xbox on that very same Saturday, and also gave it a full internal cleanup service, with my authorisation. I was able to pick it up on Monday after work. Throughout the repair process, Tariq called me with key updates, speaking with impressive clarity and humbling kindness. There was never any pressure to proceed in any given direction. The console can once again sync with controllers and the machine’s physical scars have been minimised to the fullest possible degree. I’ve learned my lesson and I’ll personally never have the Xbox stood upright again! 🤣 Thank you, Tariq, for your technical wisdom and steadfast professionalism throughout the process. I also really appreciated your passion for games. You really believed in what you do. I didn’t think you’d call me back, and I’m so grateful that you did. I know this sounds weird, but given my history with this Xbox, I felt like I was taking a wounded pet to a veterinary service! 🤣 I was relieved to tell my brother that the Xbox had been fixed, albeit I know that he’d have forgiven me on the spot. I was also relieved that I didn’t have to find £500 for a new machine! I truly recommend Console Repair London as the first option for fixing your console, for while they like any provider may not be able to fix absolutely everything, you can be assured that they will try, and that they will act with integrity and grace while doing so.
