What Are The Symptoms?
When the PS5 is turned on, the power light pulses blue and then turns white, but there is no picture on the TV. Usually, the HDMI port will look damaged or the pins will be out of alignment.

Why Does It Happen?
The HDMI port is a known weak point of the PlayStation 5. Due to poor design, it doesn't take a lot of force to damage the port. Any slight knocks or drops can cause the PS5's HDMI port to break. The ports can also be damaged by aggressively removing the HDMI cable or forcing the HDMI cable in at an awkward angle.
Another cause of PS5 HDMI port failure is leaving the cable connected when moving the console. Always unplug any cables before moving the PS5 (or any other device). If pressure is accidentally applied to the cable during transit, the HDMI port may get damaged. This also applies to knocks and drops; if the HDMI cable is plugged in when the PS5 is dropped then the port will usually need repair.

How Do We Fix It?
The faulty HDMI port is removed from the PS5 motherboard using a BGA rework station. A brand new PS5 HDMI port is then installed and each pin is individually soldered to create a strong and long lasting repair. Some repair companies are modifying PS4 HDMI ports for use on the PS5 as a way to cut costs. We never do this. We only use PS5 HDMI ports.

How Long Does It Take?
For this repair, our standard service is next day! You can bring the console in anytime during the opening hours and it will be repaired and ready for collection the following day. We also offer a 90 minute repair service for an additional fee (first come first serve).

What To Bring?
For this repair, you just need to bring the PS5 console on its own. Do not bring any cables, controllers or game discs. We have everything needed for testing the console at our London workshop.

12 month Guarantee
All of our repairs come with a 12 month guarantee. This starts on the date that is printed on the customer receipt and finishes 12 months later. In the unlikely event that the same fault reoccurs, we will fix it again free of charge. If repair is not possible then a full refund will be offered.
Full Check-up
We extensively test consoles both before and after repairs. If additional problems are found, we will always contact you before carrying out any work on the console. We will never charge you for work you haven't agreed to.
No Fix No Fee
If your console is beyond repair or the repair would be uneconomical then there is no charge at all.

If you need your console repaired the same day, we offer this service for an additional fee. For a same day repair (completed by the end of the day) there is an additional £15 charge. For a 90 minute repair there is an additional £30 charge. These services are first come first serve.
