What Are The Symptoms?
The PS5 console will suddenly lose power during gameplay. In most cases this happens without any warning, but in some instances a temperature alert appears beforehand stating: 'Your PS5 is too hot. Turn off your PS5, and wait until the temperature goes down.' You may find that simple games run for extended periods without issue, while graphically intensive games tend to trigger overheating much more quickly.

Why Does It Happen?
Sony often fail to apply the liquid metal correctly during the manufacturing process. When not applied correctly, dry spots can form leaving parts of the APU die uncovered. This leads to poor thermal transfer between the APU and the heatsink, causing the console to run hotter than intended.

How Do We Fix It?
We fully dismantle the PS5 into individual components and clean each part thoroughly. The old liquid metal is completely removed, and fresh liquid metal is carefully reapplied to ensure optimal thermal performance. After reassembly, the console is stress tested to verify that it's cooling properly and running reliably.

If you would like your repair completed within 90 minutes, we offer this for an additional fee of £25. This service is first-come, first-served.
Next Day
Our standard service is next day by 1PM. You can bring the console in anytime during the opening hours and it will be repaired and ready for collection by 1PM the following day. There is no extra charge for our next day service and it is always available.

For this repair you would need to bring your PS5 console.
12 month Guarantee
All of our repairs come with a 12 month guarantee. This starts on the date that is printed on the customer receipt and finishes 12 months later. In the unlikely event that the same fault reoccurs, we will fix it again free of charge. If repair is not possible then a full refund will be offered.
Internal Clean
This repair comes with a thorough internal clean. This is important because dust build-up within the console can lead to problems in the future.
Full Check-up
We extensively test consoles both before and after repairs. If additional problems are found, we will always contact you before carrying out any work on the console. We will never charge you for work you haven't agreed to.
Keep Your Game Saves.
This repair does not involve the internal storage so your game saves and data will be unaffected.
No Fix No Fee
If your console is beyond repair or the repair would be uneconomical then there is no charge at all.

Payment can be made by cash or card when you collect, you don't need to pay anything when you drop it off. You are welcome to test your device at our workshop before making payment.

I had an overheating issue, which made my PS5 unusable. Luckily i found Console Repair London. Extremely friendly, knowledgable and professional. I paid for the 90 minute turnaround as i was in a rush, they had it done quicker than the 90 mins. Dropped the ps5 at 08:30 and was ready before 10am.

Place a bit hard to find as google maps is messed up in that area, calling them is the ricght choice to know where to go. Firstly the customer service from both Chris and Tariq was exceptional. Both very friendly and almost instantly put me at ease.
